Agent teams and cross-session messaging
When a big task splits across sessions, agent teams enable orchestration: sessions coordinating work, and a messaging mechanism letting one session send a message to another.

Steps
- Split a big task into subtasks with clear boundaries and one owner per subtask.
- Run parallel sessions on the subtasks, and define who collects and merges the results.
- Cross-session messaging serves updates and questions during work, not full handover; big decisions stay with the coordinator.
- At the end, collect results, resolve conflicts and verify the whole works before closing the task.
Common pitfall: A team of sessions without one coordinator scatters responsibility; someone must own the full picture and the final call.
Hands-on exercise: Pick a task that splits in two, run two parallel sessions and coordinate through messaging. Record what worked and what needed intervention.
